SYNCHRONOUS IPSILATERAL WARTHIN TUMOR AND BASAL CELL ADENOMA IN PAROTID GLAND

Abstract
Salivary gland neoplasms make up 3%-4% of head and neck neoplasms. Salivary gland neoplasms are present most often in the parotid gland. It is a rare case to see synchronous salivary gland tumors with different histological type at the ipsilateral salivary gland. In this study, the diagnosis and treatment process of a patient with an unrelated synchronous warthin tumor and basal cell adenoma combination in the ipsilateral parotid gland was described.

Özet
Tükürük bezi neoplazileri baş ve boyun tümörlerinin %3-4'ünü oluşturur. Tükürük bezi neoplazileri en sık parotis bezinde bulunur. İpsilateral tükürük bezinde farklı histolojik tipte senkronize tükürük bezi tümörlerinin görülmesi nadir bir durumdur. Bu çalışmada, ipsilateral parotis bezinde senkron warthin tümörü ve bazal hücre adenomu saptanan bir hastanın tanı ve tedavi süreci sunuldu.
