THYROID AND PAROTID GLAND METASTATIS OF RENAL CELL CARCINOMA WITH FACIAL PARALYSIS

Abstract
A 77-year-old woman with metastatic renal cell carcinoma to the thyroid and parotid gland was presented in this study. Metastatic neoplasms of the head and neck region are so rare that they have been usually reported as case reports. The present case is the a patient admit because of facial paralysis who had both of the thyroid and parotid gland metastasis of renal cell carcinoma. The clinical presentation, radiologic and pathologic investigations, and the treatment of patient with surgery were discussed.

Özet
Bu çalışmamızda renal cell karsinomununun tiroid ve parotis bezine metastaz yaptığı 77 yıl yaşında bayan hasta sunuldu. Baş boyun bölgesine metastaz yapan tümörler nadir görülmektedir. Bu çalışmamızda yüz felci ile birlikte hem tiroid hem parotis bezine metastaz yapmış renal hücre karsinomunu olgusunu klinik, radyolojik, patolojik bulguları ile ve tedavisini tartışarak sunduk.
