The journal accepts only online submissions. The manuscripts should be submitted online at the address: www.entcase.org
Manuscripts should be edited in Microsoft Word XP or upper versions by PC compatible computers, and include the following sections consecutively:
1) Title Page, 2) Abstract and Keywords 3) Main Body of the Text, 4) References, 5) Tables and/or Figures, and 6) Footnotes.

Title Page and Abstract should be on separate pages..

1. TITLE PAGE

Title page should contain the followings: 1) Main Title 2) Short running title 3) Full names, degrees, and affiliations of all authors, 4) full name, address, telephone number, e-mail address of the author responsible for correspondence. An ORCID ID is required for all authors during the submission of the manuscript. The ID is available at http://orcid.org with free of charge. 5) full names of the supporting institutions and organizations, and 6) if the case has been presented in a scientific meeting previously, the title, date and place of the meeting.

2-3. ABSTRACTS AND KEY WORDS

The abstract should not exceed 200 words.
At least two key words should be given. Key words should be in conformity with “Medical Subject Headings (MESH)” (see: www.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/MBrowser.html).

4. MAIN BODY OF THE TEXT

4.1. Case Report
It is suggested that the text should not exceed 2500 words, and there should be no more than 15 references.
The text might be divided into thematic sub-sections according to the main content. Considering the order in the text; references, figures, diagrams, photographs, tables and graphics should be enumerated sequentially. Abbreviations within the text should be avoided as far as possible.
Abbreviations should be defined in parenthesis where the word to be abbreviated is first used in the text and they should be used throughout the text thereafter.

5. REFERENCES

References should be enumerated consecutively in the order in which they are cited in the text, and they should be identified in brackets right before the punctuation mark. Example: [1]. Nonconsecutive reference numbers should be punctuated by comma; consecutive numbers should be separated by hyphen. Examples: [2,4]; [1-3]; [2,4,6-9].

List of references should be consistent with the standards of International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/bsd/uniform_requirements.html).
Firstly, authors’ full surname and then only initials of the names should be written. Following authors’ name, international abbreviation or acronym of the publishing journal should be added, and after that, year of publication, volume and issue number, lastly, page numbers should be given. References in press should be indicated in parenthesis after the name of the journal as ‘in press’.

5.1 Standard Article

5.1.1. Up to three authors

In articles with up to three authors all authors’ names should be given. For example:
Halpern SD, Ubel PA, Caplan AL. Solid-organ transplantation in HIV-infected patients. N Engl J Med. 2002;347:284- 7.

5.1.2. Four or more authors

If a reference article has four or more authors, include only the first three author's last name and initials followed by et al. For example:
Rose ME, et al. Regulation of interstitial excitatory amino acid concentrations after cortical contusion injury. Brain Res. 2002;935(1-2):40-6.

5.1.3 Corporate as Author


Example:
Diabetes Prevention Program Research Group. Hypertension, insulin, and proinsulin in participants with impaired glucose tolerance. Hypertension. 2002;40(5):679-86.

5.1.4 Individuals and Corporate as Authors

Example:
Vallancien G, Emberton M, Harving N, van Moorselaar RJ; Alf-One Study Group. Sexual dysfunction in 1,274 European men suffering from lower urinary tract symptoms. J Urol. 2003;169(6):2257-61.

5.4. Supplement

If the article is within a supplement, it should be indicated just after the volume number of the journal. Example:
Geraud G, Spierings EL, Keywood C. Tolerability and safety of frovatriptan with short- and long-term use for treatment of migraine and in comparison with sumatriptan. Headache. 2002;42 Suppl 2:S93-9.

5.3. Book

5.3.1. Complete book


Example:
Breedlove GK, Schorfheide AM. Adolescent pregnancy. 2nd ed. Wieczorek RR, editor. White Plains (NY): March of Dimes Education Services; 2001.

5.3.2. Book chapter

Example:

5.4 Congress proceedings

5.5. Newspaper Report

Example:
Tynan T. Medical improvements lower homicide rate: study sees drop in assault rate. The Washington Post. 2002 Aug 12;Sect. A:2 (col. 4).

5.8. Electronic Journals

5.7. Web Page

6. TABLES, VIDEOS AND/OR FIGURES


All figures, diagrams, photographs, tables and graphics should be labeled as concise titles with italic form and number in parenthesis at the end of sentence, accordingly.

Example: (Figure 1)
Explanations should be added in the footnotes. Ensure that all images are in .jpg or .gif format with at least 300 dpi resolutions. Abbreviations should be clarified as footnotes below the figures, diagrams and photographs.
Tables should be uploaded to the system as seperate image files, not within the text file.Videos should be submitted in flv or mp4 format with their comments

7. FOOTNOTES

Footnotes should be given as double-spaced at a seperate page. Information regarding magnification and technique should be given for microscopic pathology images.

8. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS


If any, financial and commercial support, translation, statistics, technical support for graphics, tables and figures etc., editorial support and conflict of interests should be stated at a separate page.

9. CONFLICT OF INTEREST


If any, authors’ conflict of interests should be disclosed by clear statements.

CHECKLIST FOR MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSON

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions which do not adhere to these guidelines may return to authors.

1. The submission has not been previously published or submitted to another journal.
2. The manuscript should be edited in Microsoft Word XP or upper versions by PC compatible computers.
3. Where available, URLs of the references should be provided.
4. All illustrations, figures and tables should be provided at the end of the text. High-quality copies of the illustrations should be sent as file attachments. Large files might not be uploaded during submission. Where appropriate, files can be divided for separate uploads and sent accordingly.
